The Crazy Joker

This is not a child friendly venue at all. The owner is rude and unwelcoming, the place is like a sauna my kids were literally dripping with sweat, the equipment is old, ripped & unsafe, things are held together with zip ties, inflatables deflate and fall onto the children. We saw one baby hit his head on the ground and almost suffocate because the babies area inflatable didn't have enough air in it either. The slides hurt the children's back because they seem not to be joined together properly. My daughter came off the slide crying from being hurt. No lights in the toilets, even the decore is not suitable for kids. The staff are more interested in serving food which I've never tasted cause entry is expensive enough for me. Having a large family with no family discounts available. I would recommend this owner close down and get a cafe for adults only instead. And stay behind the scenes and not interact with customers because your sour attitude is extremely off putting. I was also over charged and was told it was my fault and refused a refund. I will never take my kids here again!! Please don't believe the 5 star reviews, this place is lucky to receive 1 star.

We normally attend the crazy joker with our 3 year old and 1 year old. This time we were VERY UNHAPPY and will not be coming again. The place looked like an absolute dumping ground like no one likes to vacuum or clean the floors after a few days. My 1 year old picked up a bandaid and rubbish in the 0-2 playground. They've got the blower from the jumping castle out in the playground where all the kids can touch and play with the electrical cord. The playground is old and needs an upgrade, especially when little ones cant even climb up the stairs because they're that sunken. No fans on. The 0-2 slide edge is out so any baby/child can cut there feet, hands or knees if they're crawling. So hot in there. Especially for the kids. Paid $9.50 for my 3 AND 1 year old. $19.00 is disgusting especially when coming to something so untidy and unsafe etc. Disappointing.

There are a bunch of safety hazards in the playground. The slide has a big giant bump in the middle, kids can fall off. The tunnel stinks, most of the stuff is covered in germs, the Frozen jumping castle deflates and 4 children got stuck in it! There's a hole where you climb above the giant slide, children can fall off into the slide. And I noticed all of it is being held by ziplocks. One star is being very generous. Perhaps you should do a deep cleaning and repair the broken things.

WARNING!!!!! unsafe for children.... I was lucky I had eyes on my 2year old. I followed him down near the EXIT and he ran for the open door. I was beside myself as 2 secound prior another mother ask if I'd seen her child. I was able to stop my son in the truck loading bay as truckers were reversing. I aproched the other mother and luckily she found her child...DANGEROUS.. When I approached staff they were to bothered about the situation. Power cords exposed, dust and rubbish, holes in climbing equipment, flat/holey inflatables. This place need to be closed before a child is seriously hurt. Following reply:: Yes. I did have eyes on my children. The door was left OPEN. Out of multiple playcentre iv have been to while travelling Qld, there had never been such a hazardist door. I understand all buildings need a fire exits, but staff members have a duty of care.

The crazy joker once was an amazing place, food incredible play equipment awesome and clean. But the last few times going (after not going for about 2 years as my kids got older, but now have another little one). I’ve started to notice dirty equipment rude employees. And of recent very damaged equipment some just held together with tape. The baby play area should just be ripped out, the jumping castle in there is a suffocation risk. And from reading reviews it’s been a problem for a while I told the lady working and she said she fixed it but it only made it worse. Please please please close down for a while get your priorities in order fix the equipment make it the safe fun clean environment it once was. Food is amazing always has been. I kinda feel like that’s why the play ground is lacking because the food/cafe part has taken priority. Price to get in for kids is crazy as well. And went up so much.

The kids have fun which is the only plus side. However service has been at times blunt & almost rude from some (not all) of the staff. The equipment is starting to deteriorate, for example the inflatable playground in the small children's section is filled with holes & barely stays inflated. The place is overdue for a very thorough deep clean. You don't expect to see confetti & other rubbish on the equipment when you're the first family in the building that morning. Definitely in need of some improvements.
